    Hi,

in order to further customize our website we just created our own child theme (using the documentation provided by Hestia) but we are facing one issue, that we can’t fix on our own.

The problem is, that the website is displaying the default Hestia header background gradient, even though when opening the Customizer our customized color is selected. (see image below) Any ideas on how that could happen?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @alexanderkorn,

Thank you for using Hestia and for reaching out!

I have accessed your website, and I can see that the background is, indeed, the color selected by you. Is the problem solved by now? This is how it looks on my end https://imgur.com/a/tXO2840.

    Best regards,

    Mara

    Hi,

I only ‘fixed’ it using custom css code snippets, otherwise the problem ist still there.

    Hi @alexanderkorn

    Thank you for your update!

I tested the issue on my end, and the customized header background color worked as expected. This might be a caching issue, which could explain why the changes aren’t appearing for you.

We have an article to help you clear the cache: https://docs.themeisle.com/article/1526-how-to-clear-the-cache-in-wordpress. Please also make sure to have the latest version of the theme.

Let me know if this resolves the problem or if there’s anything else I can assist you with!

    Best regards,
    Mara

I already tested that, but it did not work. I solved it by manually using Custom CSS and overwriting it that way, thus, I will mark this thread as resolved.

Great, thank you for the update!
