    Hello!

    I’ve prepared a website that utilizes the plugin for a client. They, however, find adding products to categories a chore and do not remember about it.

    Is there a way to set a default category for newly added products, or configure a catalog to show products with no category?

    Thanks!

  • Hi wyszukiwarkalokali,

    One way to do this with Product Catalogue:

    1) Create one category (e.g. call it “All Products”).

    2) Then add that category to your catalogue.

    3) When the client adds new products, make sure they select “All Products” from the Category dropdown (it’ll be on the right side in the “Add New Product” page).

    4) Edit your catalogue and add this CSS to the “Custom CSS” box:

    .prod-cat-sidebar-category-div?{display:?none;}

    (this will hide the categories section in the sidebar of the catalogue page)
