Default Category

  • Hello David,
    is there any way to preset the default category for MLA? The idea is that when I upload a picture it automatically get assigned a default category.

    I doesn’t need to be an option in the settings, an hook works fine.

    Good to hear from you again – it has been a while. You can try the solution outlined in this earlier topic:

    Customizing upload options | www.remarpro.com

    Using the “Autoload presets” option for the Media/Add New (Upload New Media) screen will let you set terms and other values for new items. If that does not work for your application, let me know and I can give you some guidance on using MLA’s hooks for a code-based alternative.
