default bullet goes into text

To the right (generated by another plugin) pages are preceeded by an arrow as a bullet. This worked well also on the left side before updating to version 2. On this site I am still using version 1 of this plugin and it works fine there: https://science-network.tv/

I cant figure out how to change settings to make it work again. Please help!
