When I set a default amount, the button is highlighted. But the default amount doesn’t actually appear in the amount field. So if someone clicks the donate button – there is an error to enter the amount. How can I set the default amount to automatically populate in the amount field?
Also, the system allows someone to donate amounts lower than the amount set as “minimum”
How can I fix these two issues?

  • Hello @hello345 ,
Thanks for reaching out to us.

I understood the issue you are having with. I have tested the feature of Fixed Amount and the Min and Max amount of the WP Fundraising plugin in my development environment and found that both of the features are working fine in my development environment. I haven’t found any issues there. Please check this video for a better understanding.

Since the Fixed Amount donation feature of WP Fundraising is working fine in my development environment, can you make sure that the campaign is configured correctly by following the video mentioned above? If the issue persists even after configuring everything correctly, then kindly share the link to the campaign along with some screenshots of the configuration you have made in the backend. I will check everything and let you know an update as soon as possible.

In response to the Min amount issue, you have mentioned- If the Min and Max amount of donation is set up correctly, then you shouldn’t face any issues with it. Please reconfirm that the Min and Max amount is configured properly by following the video.

Let me know the update on this matter. If it requires further assistance, I will be happy to help.

    Best Regards,
    Prosenjit

    Thank you for your reply.
I am using the “multi-price” option and continue to see boths issues from my end (The default option doesn’t appear in the amount box and any amount goes through to checkout).
Here is a screenshot of settings and pages: https://jewishworkshops.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/TEMP/support-4-sept-2022.mp4
    Thank you.

I have the same problem and I think this is an existing issue with this plugin so please fix it. this is happening in the multi-price option and your video show at fixed price so it doesn’t answer the question. hope this will be resolve.

    Hello @hello345 ,
    Sorry for the delayed response.

Thanks for sharing the video. I have checked and successfully been able to reproduce an error with the default amount. The issue is forwarded to the dev team already. I hope it will be solved soon. We will release an update as soon as the solution is ready. Till then, stay tuned.

Regarding the Min Max issue, I have checked and found that it is working correctly in my development environment. The amount lower than the minimum amount is displaying an error and not getting accepted. Please check this video for a better understanding. Maybe caches on your site are preventing it to work properly. Will you please try clearing the caches from your site and browser as well? I hope it will help.

Let me know if there is anything else you need help with.

    Best regards,
    Prosenjit
