• I love the deeplink Juggernaut feature, but it has problems again and again putting links into my posts the first time I draft them and hit preview. They simply don’t link.

I can usually disable the juggernaut feature on posts, save, then re-enable it to make it work. This is getting to be frustrating though, as it is an extra step each post I publish.

I am using this in conjunction with Genesis framework, and I have the following other plugins activated: Genesis responsive slider, Genesis simple hooks, Gensis simple sidebars, Google XML Sitemaps, Gravity Forms, ManageWP- Worker (doesn’t work within this at all), Sociable.

I’m running the latest versions of WP, Genesis, all the plugins, and SEO Ultimate.

I have about 45 phrases going in Deeplink Juggernaut, 3 of which are typed in directly, the rest are linked on the SEO for the posts and pages.

The same issue happens on multiple sites, all running Genesis (by the way)

    Thanks.

I just made a post where the links weren’t showing. I tried my trick noted above.

Now NONE of the deeplinks are working on any of the pages in https://www.1-800injurylaw.com

    Please Help ASAP!

    Thanks

Links only work once published, not in preview mode. So, first publish your pages (not draft or preview) then look for autolinks.

Also, there are two ways to add autolinks (1) through the content link settings page and (2) from the SEO settings Page >>> Links >>> then add the keyword or cluster of keywords you want to have linked to that page (from other pages).

Try this step first, otherwise, you may have a server setting or plugin/theme clash with SEO Ultimate.

Thank you Jeffrey. I’ve always been able to preview the autolinks in draft. Maybe it’s not supposed to work that way, but it used to ??

Thanks for the reminder on how to link, I’m well versed in that functionality of this fantastic plugin. That’s not the issue.

I’ll check through the plugins — I suspect it is the ManageWP plugin if it ends up being a plugin issue, but a temporary fix is:

I was able to get at least working by unchecking the box for “Don’t link the same anchore text more than X times per post/page/etc. in the Content Link Settings tab. This is not ideal of course because I wanted to limit it to once. At the suggestion of last year’s resolution entry https://www.1-800injurylaw.com/automobile-accident-attorney-unresponsive-defendants/

I am next going to move off of the shared server I’m on to see if it is a memory allocation issue – to address your server issue theory.

    Thanks for your help, and

    Hi Jckbo:

That issue should have been fixed that you were referring to (don’t link the same anchors, etc.).

I suspect its a memory issue for you, but keep us posted so we know if we have to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Update, it seems to have been a memory issue. But just one nagging thing keeps occurring… the deeplink Juggernaut never links my primary key phrase. I’ve checked to make sure it is is the list correctly and that the spelling is right. I’m having to do a manual link every time for just this one phrase.

    @jckbco

Are you using link dampening? if so, then you may have reached a link cap set by volume / % of keyword instances used in the site.

    Thread Starter jckbco

    (@jckbco)

No dampening has been set for either the overall or that phrase.

Some dampening has been set for other phrases, however.

Could it be that the juggernaut is counting links to that page from the main navigation in the count and therefore is thinking it has already linked to that one?

    Thanks.

Only links in content are considered autolinks. Navigation is not included in the algo.
