Deepl translates according to the logfile, but “load icon” rotates all the time

Are you using Gutenberg ?
The plugin is not compatible with Gutenberg yet (or maybe it’s the other way). There is no API documentation for this kind of thing (dynamically replacing content inside the editor).
The plugin should not display a translate button in Gutenberg Mode.

The log request you pasted is not a translation request, but just the Usage request to show current/remaining characters.
If that’s the only request in the logs, then there is no Translation request occurring which is expected with Gutenberg.

As for revisions, no impact
Visual Composer : this plugin sends HTML from the post content “as is” , and put the translated content “as is”. DeepL API has a limited capability regarding XML tags handling.
Still, in classic editor, you should get at least a HTML-downgraded version of translated content.

If you’re encountering problems in classic editor please send more infos (debug log in Javascript Console)

I am in the latest WordPress version, but I have installed the Plugin Classic Editor. As you said, the translation button would not have been visible before.

With “But in classic mode the translation looks good (at least in the Log file….)” I meant that I switched the visual composer to classic HTML mode before I started the translation.

? Could you find something?!? I have a deadline for my translation-projekt, so I would like to start ASAP,but it still doesn’t work….

after I updated the plugin to 1.1.4, deepl doesn’t appear in the pages anymore, so it gets worse than better ?? And unfortunately still no feedback from you ??
