That’s certainly an excellent idea. One thing I would need to do first before I make promises is to check into spam prevention. The last thing I want to do is leave an opening for spambots to get a toe in the door. I’m sure you can understand that.
Speaking of future features, I do plan to resume work on 2.0 after the holidays. Version 2.0 is going to be a major revision of the existing plug-in. The main new feature will be multi-DJ/multi-stream support. Version 2.0 will allow you to configure the request system for multiple DJs sharing a single stream or to configure several different streams on a single site, each with it’s own request system.
At the same time, I am also working on a second plug-in. The main idea of this plug-in is to allow your visitors to suggest songs to be added to your library, and to vote on each others’ suggestions. This will be a separate plug-in that can be used with or without the SAM Integrator plug-in.
