Decimal step value for Number or Range field

Hi – I am trying to set up a number field so that someone can enter their height in meters but the step value only wants to work in units.
This is what I have entered: [number height min:1 max:3 step:0.01 placeholder “Height (in meters)”]
Any help much appreciated.
