Deciding upon a premium wordpress framework

I do hope I am in the right spot for this topic.

I am a wordpress newbie with a little experience in wordpress and creating my own, from scratch, themes. I’ve created three very basic & simple ones. I’m an aspiring web designer with intermediate CSS & HTML (starting to work with bits of CSS3 & HTML5 now) with a thirst to learn more about wordpress and the websites I can make. I don’t like working with PHP and am not comfortable 100% with the loop and other small things with wordpress (but I’m getting there).

I was hoping that I could get some advice from members as to what a good premium framework I should start off with. I have looked around google and other sites for premium frameworks and came across the HeadWay Framework. I do like it and have watched some of the videos on how to work it, it impresses me and I seem to be drawn to it. However there are many more out there and I was hoping for some advice as to which framework is suited for a beginner.

I’m willing to pay for a framework that will not give me troubles, has an easy to follow guide, instructions, videos and are not confusing. I was thinking Thematic but I’m not sure.

I would appreciate some input as to what an intermediate web designer and newbie wordpress theme designer should choose as a safe, secure, easy to use but easy to customize framework.
