Deceptive Site Ahead

  • I am getting a Deceptive Site ahead red screen warning when I click on the microthemer tab in the wp dashboard. It only happens when I try to access the plugin, not with anything else.

    Hey,

    The “Deceptive Site ahead” warning means your domain has been flagged as containing malware. It isn’t specific to a single page. I suspect you are getting the warning on the Microthemer interface because Microthemer loads the frontend of your site. It may also happen when you Google your own site and then click on a link in the search results.

    I recommend reaching out to your web host for help. They may be able to do a scan and clean the site for you. And provide general guidance.

    Thanks Sebastian, I’m unsure how this has happened as I only started the site today. I have only used plugins I’ve used lots of times before. The site is showing as secure on every other page, including customiser which also loads the frontend, just when I click on microthemer it comes up with the red screen and only did it when I uploaded this plugin.
