Decent, but lacking cache plugin
-
I am usually not too active on reviewing plugins but here’s my opinion.
I think the plugin is quite decent, I like that it’s not overloaded with functions that may never be used and does the job quite well with what it has, at least for lighter websites.
Now here’s what issues I see after using this on quite a few projects for an extended amount of time:
* Latest versions really slowed down admin panel, especially when saving posts/pages and even more so when saving WooCommerce products. Using WPML, there’s more work to do behind the scenes, but going from ~2 seconds to save/reload product edit screen to 5-10 is quite unacceptable. I suspect quality control/testing may be an issue here and bellow reason happens ->
* Plugin would generate PHP notices and warnings for months and bellow reason why is that ->
* It’s being maintained and updated sparingly and you may not know how soon will something be fixed/updated once found or will it keep spamming your error log (if you use that) or even brick the site (never happened to me, but see some people have these issues)So make of it what you want. Again, it’s decent plugin, I like their hosting service (even if prices are quite a bit higher) and I used this plugin even on sites that are not hosted on their servers. However, latest versions are pushing me towards using another caching plugin.
Meanwhile, there’s a lot of room for improvement and there’s a bright future for this plugin if they start putting in more effort that is.
For now, if you got a heaver site, especially with WooCommerce, I would avoid it
