Can you share a link to your site? I’m wondering if you’re having the same issues as i am. Would need to see.
So to clarify, the other day Elementor auto-updated and immediately broke the site. We deactivated all plugins except elementor and it was still broken. We replaced revisions both manually and automated through their “tools” dashboard… No fix.
When I manually uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version…no fix. When I contacted Elementor they told me to buy a pro license before they would fix it. That was extortion….plain and simple. I have other licenses but they (an autoupdate)caused the problem and then forced me to buy a license under duress, something that would be punitive for them in a civil court.
Anyways, moving on since I bought the license the 3rd tier support hasn’t troubleshot, only tested the login credentials and i’ve seen no activity since the initial logging in yesterday to confirm they had access to my server console. Meanwhile, our tattoo shop clients can’t complete our workflow and fill out the necessary legal forms and etc. Our entire workflow is online.
When I asked support for updates multiple times I was first told that customer service had no way of speaking to 3rd tier support. This morning however I was told they spoke to them and told that there was no communicable update and they would let me know…Something that is very much inline with the server logs showing a quick login and logout yesterday and few other commands issued to the console. It confirmed to me they hadn’t begun troubleshooting…they just verified they could get in. I will probably dispute the charges on “duress” grounds. Forcing people to buy upgrade to fix things offered at a lower level of service is actually well ‘precedented’ in Georgia. I could win in court but $100 isn’t worth that.
Anyways, this problem may be database related but it only breaks Elementor. I’ve found that the data for the posts, pages, and testimonials, are fine and only elementor itself is broken. So I can likely fix this by migrating to another builder and leaving Elementor alone.
My company will NOT be adding this project to any other production sites in the future and I will scale it out of the ones i have in my name and my clients names. That’s 11 sites altogether. I recommend you only use this product for personal, non-important things. They don’t triage very well.
