Debug?

  • Hi,
    I’m trying to an understanding at code level of how WordPress notifies other blogs about posts using pingback.

    Reason for it is that it is not working in my test environment. I suspect that it is caused by the fact that wordpress thinks my https://localhost:3000 en https://localhost web apps are just one and the same app (with other words: it is an interal link -> don’t send a ping)

    Reading the code is hard for me as I’m used to ruby and Rails app so I thought I could read log messages to see what gets executed, queried etc.

    How can I do that? I searched for ‘debug’ on this site but there does not seem to be such a thing on the site.
