    Hello Support:

I am searching woocommerce products with variations of size and color. Ideally, a search would return a single product image/title with an indication that there are +5 more colors.

This is what actually occurs. If I search “products,” ASL returns one product image with its title – no indication that there are additional colors. If I search “variations,” ASL returns 36 versions of the product – one for each of six sizes for each of six different colors.

Is there some way to achieve what I would like – on product image with a note that there are 5 additional colors without any mention of sizes?

Do you have any suggestions for how to handle this situation?

    Thank you.

    Hello Support:

Okay I have solved one problem and created another.

I added BeRocket Product Filters to my search results page. This allows all of the product results to be displayed with swatches of the color variation. So that seems to be solved.

However, I have been using ASL to search products and blog posts. When the results page uses Product Filters, it does not display any blog post results.

Is there a way to have use the front end filters to direct the product search results display to one page and the posts search results to another page?

Or can you suggest another method to display product and blog post search results?

    Thank you.

    Hi William,

Is there a way to have use the front end filters to direct the product search results display to one page and the posts search results to another page?

Well, that is sort of limited by the WooCommerce results page. When using the WooCommerce product results it automatically filters out everything other than products.

A possible solution would be to have a separate search for products and other post types, but that is not possible in the Free version. Another possiblity is to redirect the results to the default results page (instead of the WooCommerce results page), that should be able to display everything.

    All the best,
    Ernest
