Dealing with products with lots of variations
-
I’m creating a new website that will contain a number of products with a lot of product variations available and was hoping to get some advice on the best way to set this up.
My client is selling custom built furniture and each piece of furniture will have the following variable options:
1. Size (4 variations)
2. Material (>100 variations)
3. Finish (2 variations)The product has 4 “base prices” for each available size and then depending on the material and finish selected an additional cost is added.
When setting up product variations in Woocommerce in the normal way I’m going to end up with hundreds (if not thousands!) of price variations to enter manually.
Is there an easier way for me to do things whereby I can set a base price and then add $x to that base price depending on the material selected, and then add an additional $x to the base price depending on the product finish selected?
Thanks in advance!
