    Hi everyone,
I have a clients site that has physical products, some are small and can be paid for and posted, but others are large and need to have freight quoted.
What is the best way to handle this situation ?
Do I need to find a plugin that can deal with it ?
I thought of doing it via categories, but unsure how to turn off the postage shipping option for the larger items!
    TIA, Dave

  • Have you taken a look at WooCommerce Shipping Classes?

It seems like you could add the small products to one shipping class linked to your normal (flat rate?) shipping option, and the freight-quoted products can be in a separate “freight quote” class.

I’m not sure if Shipping Classes will lead you to a complete solution, but it’s the place I’d start.

    Hello @daveporter,

I understand you want to give a shipping quote for some products.
Here’s an extension made by one of our partners that can help you achieve this.

I should note that all our extensions have a 30-day refund policy. If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to provide a full refund.

    Hope it helps!
