    Dear Support,

    I would like to deactivate the Cloudflare full-page caching, however i could not find sufficient documentation to understand the consequences and assess the following:
    – if i do so, will all SG Optimizer settings go back to the original situation of dynamic caching?
    – Siteground says that by de-authenticating, all settings from my CDN account will be deleted and will remove the worker. Will my website still work?
    Please let me know.
    F.

    Hello there @fabiovito83,

    To deactivate the Cloudflare full-page caching, simply go to the Cloudflare Tab, click Deauthenticate, and after that disable the optimization. This will remove the SiteGround Optimizer Worker that was added to your account. By doing this you will revert to the default settings of your Cloudflare account.

    If you wish to disable Cloudflare entirely you have to do it either from Site Tools or from the Cloudflare account. This depends on the way you have activated Cloudflare for your website.

    When disabling the Cloudflare full-page caching through the plugin there should be no delay and your website should work without any issues.

    Keep in mind that if you have enabled Cloudflare through a different account and you have made any DNS Changes it may take some time for them to be taken into action since there is a propagation time usually.

    If you have any other questions, feel free to reach back to us.

    Kind Regard,
    Stoyan

    @fabiovito83,

    You will also lose all of your Cloudflare Page Rules.

    SG Optimizer’s Cloudflare feature has no provisions to restore them. One of its HUGE drawbacks.

    Cheers!
