• Aside from it being quite slick, one of the prime features of this plugin was that the output would survive, even if the plugin disappears. Now I’m finding out that is not true, at least not in my case.

When I deactivate the plugin, the reference no longer pops up when mousing over a citation. And the references themselves in the bibliography become malformed, looking like this:

    1. 1.
Augspurger CK. 2013. Reconstructing patterns of temperature, phenology, and frost damage over 124 years: Spring damage risk is increasing. Ecology 94(1):41–50 <10.1890/12-0200.1>.

    instead of this:

    1. Augspurger CK. 2013. Reconstructing patterns of temperature, phenology, and frost damage over 124 years: Spring damage risk is increasing. Ecology 94(1):41–50 <10.1890/12-0200.1>.

I’m disappointed. I’ve got about 50 pages now, each with up to 30 references, and eventually I know I’m going to have to redo them in some other solution.
