Deactivated W3 Total Cache & Site & Server Just Crashed
-
I’m on a very beefy dedicated server with nginx and varnish, but when I just deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin, the server went into overload and I’m unable to get into my wp-admin even to just reactivate it to see if that will solve this problem.
I’m wondering if I have to delete the plugin entirely. I tried the blank master.php attempt but that hasn’t helped. Just talking to my hosting (InMotion), and they’ve been flooded with calls with the same W3 Total Cache problems.
They had pushed W3 Total Cache on me after I was using WP Super Cache, and now they’re suggesting to everyone to go back to Super Cache.
If anyone else had this happen and figured out a solution, please share.
Thanks!
