    Hi,
I use a remote service to maintain my clients’ sites (iControlWP)and so was not logged into a site when I updated PHP Code for Posts to v 2.0.8 yesterday.
My client called today to say that something was wrong with her website.

Evidently, when the update was made, the plugin deactivated. Had I been logged into the site, obviously I would have noticed it right away.

Anyway, it’s no biggy, but would you have any idea why the plugin would spontaneously deactivate upon update?

Ahhh… I just found this in my iControlWP logs.

Attempt to update plugin “PHP Code for posts” from version “1.3.0” resulted in a new plugin name.

That would cause its deactivation, I guess!

hey, not sure on a new name, but I did change the author, perhaps that triggered it.
