To find a java conflict between my theme and plugins I went the generally recommended route and deactivated all plugins, then activated them one-by-one. NOTE: I didn’t uninstall any!

Once reactivated Jetpack asked again to be connected with WordPress.com account. But all my statistics seem to be lost!

Is there any way to retrieve the statistics of the last year.

BTW: I believe such things shouldn’t happen! Can’t statistics be saved for at least 48 hours? The entire process, deactivation to reactivation, took me like 20 minutes. Most other settings seem to have survived, why not the wordpress connection and associated statistics?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

First of all, you can rest assured; your stats aren’t gone! Here is what probably happened: with Jetpack, your stats information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats were lost.

I can get those stats back for you, though. Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

    Thanks, Jeremy, for the offer!
(Sorry, I didn’t get a chance to get online any earlier – travel blogger!)

    My site is https://dare2go.com/

Would be great if the stats could be restored!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Thanks.

It looks like your site previously used a different site URL, dare2go.com/WPress/.

I have fixed the issue, and you should be able to get your Stats and Subscribers back by going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disconnecting / reconnecting to WordPress.com.
