  • Sometimes, updates bump into trouble and don’t complete successfully. In some cases, this causes WordPress to deactivate the plugin.

    To be sure your installation is complete, it’s best to download the plugin, extract its files and upload them to the site using FTP (overwrite everything).

    Alternatively, delete the plugin using FTP (so you don’t lose any settings) and install it again using WordPress (Plugins > Add New).
