    Hi there
I’m finished using Query Monitor and on trying to deactivate the plugin it’s not allowing it. The screen just refreshes and nothing has happened.
I don’t want to just delete the plugin folder for it in case I leave any artifacts behind.
    Any idea what happening here?
    Thanks
    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

Does the same problem occur with other plugins or just with QM?

It’s entirely safe to simply delete QM — the plugin is specifically built so it doesn’t do anything persistent to your WordPress installation at all. The only exception is that you’ll also need to delete the wp-content/db.php symlink, if it’s present.

    Hi John
    Thank for the reply.
I just tried again after about three hours and it just behaved and deactivated. No idea what was going on there.
