Deactivate in backend for custom post type

    Hello,

    I have a custom post type (events) that has thousands of posts.
    When open a single event in wordpress backend, the site doesn’t loads very slowly when Multisite Language Switcher is activated. Also the php memory size exceeds.

    If I would deactivate the plugin, the event in the backend would load fast.

    Is it possible to just deactivate the plugin for a custom post type?

    There is an option in the settings of the Multisite Language Switcher called “Activate experimental autocomplete inputs”. If this is active it will not use the classic select-dropdowns any more and it will be fast again.

    No, it just boosts the performance in the dashboard because it loads the posts on request only.
