Deactivate automatic plugin updates
-
I recently updated one of my sites to Jetpack 5.0. I notice that my dashboard now displays Plugin Updates as active. I absolutely do NOT want this, but I cannot see where to deactivate it. The newer versions of Jetpack make it much more difficult to find and change settings. I have never manually turned on auto plugin updates, so I don’t know how it got turned on, but I need it OFF right away.
My WooCommerce plugin automatically updated tonight and now I have a ton of work and testing to do to ensure it is working properly. It’s late so I am forced to just shut down my store for the night.
The only thing I can see that would have caused this is Jetpack. I have auto updates disabled through my host and I have never had plugins automatically update before. The only change is the recent update of Jetpack to 5.0. I have another site running Jetpack 4.9 and its Jetpack dashboard simply tells me I have two plugins that need to be updated.
Please tell me how to deactivate this ASAP. I cannot have this happening on my WooCommerce site.
