Hi, I really need the Apple/Google pay to be inactive until the customer accepts the Terms and Conditions. It is required by law and there is no other option for me! Express payment is very express in this case. Classic payment gateways don’t have a problem with this, but Stripe doesn’t seem to be able to do such a thing at all.
Another thing is that the customer may want to ship to a different address than the Apple/Google address, they may also want to use a different billing address. The plugin doesn’t seem to be able to handle this at all.
Is your plugin usable for me or should I use a classic payment gateway?

    Thank you

    Hi @polakr

Why don’t you just disable Apple Pay and GPay from the express checkout section? On each settings page you will find an option to remove them from the express checkout when using the checkout shortcode.

Another thing is that the customer may want to ship to a different address than the Apple/Google address, they may also want to use a different billing address. The plugin doesn’t seem to be able to handle this at all.

If a customer pre-fills their shipping address info, then the plugin won’t request the shipping info from the customer. You can test this scenario and see that if the shipping address has already been filled out by the customer, the GPay and Apple Wallet won’t request that info.

The billing address info is different than shipping. Why would you want a billing address different than the one associated with the payment method? The billing address provided by Apple Pay and GPay is given priority because that’s the address associated with the payment method. Changing that would only lead to an increase in failed payments due to fraud detections within Stripe. It’s important that the billing address used for the payment is the correct address associated with the payment method.

    Kind Regards
