    Hello~
I had deactivated the amp plugin of my wordpress for a couple of days, my website in the google search is still in amp version. Today, I re-indexed my website URL in URL Inspection of the google search console. The Referring page of my website in the URL inspection is in amp form now, do I need to take any further actions for changing it into normal URL or just wait a few days for google to re-index the URL? Thank you~~

  • Hello @johnpetsa ,

Thanks for opening a support topic.

If you’ve disabled AMP on your site any visits to your site will result in users being redirected to the non AMP versions of any URL. You don’t need to take any action if you’ve already requested a recrawl of your site, it’s just a matter of waiting for a re-index.

For further information regarding re-indexing you can reach out to product team at Search Console. Before asking a question on the Search Console help center you can go through this article regarding recrawl that might clear your questions.

    Best Regards,

Hello~ The problem was fixed thank you~~

    I have another problem~
I have changed the URL to HTTPS format long ago, but the google search is still revealing my website home page as the unsafe website(an exclamation mark before the URL), but the other pages are fine.
How should I solve the problem~ Thank you~~~

Glad to hear you were able to fix the issue.

Regarding your Google Search issue I’d recommend you to reach out the product experts at Search Console Forum as its not relevant to the Site Kit.

    Best Regards,
