I need to deactivate the plugin on only my BLOG page(s).

Because the search widget on the blog page should only do a search within the blogs.

Please how is this possible to deactivate the plugin only on one page?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    additional info:

I have installed ajax search plugin.
    1) I have an search-widget within the navigation (for searching all content of the website) which works great.
    2) I have another search-widget on the Blog page (for searching only within the blog content)

Only the search widget on the blog page should do not search the whole content but only the blog content – therefore i must deactivate the ajaxsearch-plugin on the blog page. (not exclude posts by IDs in the results which is a different thing)

    Hi,

Well, I believe the only way to do that is to use some sort of a conditional widgets plugin. The search itself does not check (and can’t check) for the output location, it’s outputted wherever you place it.

I think the Dynamic Widgets plugin can do that, but I’m not sure.

    All the best,
    Ernest
