de- and activating any plugin fails if browser-window-stats 1.1 is installed

!!!! recently I discovered that enabling disabling of any or my 40 plugins is failing (since 8.Feb.2012. also no data entries in the browser window stats table !!!! so I assumes a broken wp 3.1.1
If I deinstall the plugin browser-window-stats by removing the subfolder the wp 3.1.1 is back to live and plugins can again activated and deactivated. doublecheked by reinstalling the plugin with same result…
I had the plugin installed before without problems (was there an update on 7./8.2.2012 ???)
maybe important for debugging: reviewing the mysql database table entries I saw an entry for an monitor visiting my site with following dimensions:
14.571 x 8.192 pixels dimension
other stats tool I use did this access also record, so… maybe the plugin cant handle such values?
