DDOS ATTACK / BACKDOOR CAPABILITY MANAGER

  • I’m aware of a spam filter from AOL that reported a intrusion to my WordPress installation that was using this plugin through:

    Spam Originated from : public_html/wp-content/plugins/capability-manager-enhanced/images
    Likely Script: template.php

    The attackers were able to bypass WordPress login through this, create an email account, that was intercepted by the barracuda.

    I have no further information about about which files were affected of the plugin, hopefully I wil have more details and update here.
