DCL Fails to Load – All Pages

    Hello,

    I recently installed DCL plugin, linked it to my Disqus account, but cannot get it to work properly. DCL removed the default WP Comments from each webpage post and placed the ‘Load Comments’ button in it’s place. So far so good.

    Unfortunately when I click the button it gives me this:

    ‘We were unable to load Disqus. If you are a moderator please see our troubleshooting guide.’

    I had the same results with the standard Disqus Comment Plugin.

    I’ve taken the following steps:

    1. Deactivated plugins
    2. Flush the cache
    3. Load webpage in ‘incognito mode’ (I’m using chrome)
    4. Reloaded pages from my website and I get the same message – ‘We were unable to load…’

    I’ve also tried adjusting the sync options and template conflict setting to no avail.

    I’m using WP Theme Amadeus 1.03

    Hello,

    Yes, I added my site to the trusted domains list in Disqus advanced settings and it did not fix the issue.

    Good afternoon,

    I tried removing the plug-in from my wordpress and reinstalling with no luck. The plug-in summary shows it’s compatible with my theme and after following the troubleshooting guides I’m still missing something because it’s not working.

    Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    I figured it out. I had a plugin running for variable URLs. Once I removed it DCL loaded just fine.
