db problems when importing from mt

  • I?′m importing my Blog from Movable Type 2.661. I exported the posts to import.txt and edited import-mt.php and all seems to be fine when running the script until i get an error message:
    Database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘ORDER BY ID’ at line 1]
    SELECT * FROM ORDER BY ID
    My fresh install of WordPress (1.2) seems to be working just fine. I just want to import my old posts too. Does anyone have idea what i could do next?
    MySQL-version on the server is 4.0.20.

  • Could you confirm the version of wordpress and import-mt.php you have?
    Can you try going to line 76 and change $wpdb->users to $tableusers?

    Thanks for your help but i managed to solve the problem or at least get around it.
    I installed lates nightly build and now imporint runs correctly. Before my wordpress version was 1.2.
