DB Cache = Is this Fake or even a Risk? Technical Concept?

    i really appreciate W3, its a great software, thanks! But there is not official technical Documentation about the DB Cache (Architecture/Concepts). As all know, DB Caching is a more sophisticated topic, that not trivial at all even for a DBMS itself (=>cache invalidation strategies etc).
    Even only caching SELECTS can lead to complete destroying of all data, when a cached result (that should have been invalidated) is used a basis for writes/updates.

    So having such a feature without any documentation is not good. It would be kind if anyone can comment on and provide some rough technical architecture/concepts, what and when the DB CAche will become active.

    Otherwise I have to assume tthis feature will have a high change of completely garbaging all my data / WP Install in the longterm.
