    Hi,

Today I noticed that Koko kind of summed four days of stats into only one bar (Feb 6th). I guess it’s easier to understand with an image:

In 3rd–5th my blog was up and running, and since it didn’t have any viral post, I assume Koko consolidated all these days in February 6th.

Any idea how to fix this?

Koko Analytics depends on a cron task “koko_analytics_aggregate_stats”.

I’m not super familiair yet with the inner workings of Koko Analytics so correct me if I’m wrong @dvankooten:

I imagine that something was blocking the Wp-Cron queue from running for a few days on your site. This can be some big task at the top of the queue. No other wp-cron tasks will run until that one big task is completed or deleted.

You can investigate such issues by looking at the cron schedule with a plugin like Advanced Cron Manager.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let me know!

    Hey @rghedin,

I think @lapzor is correct here. Koko Analytics aggregates its stats in a WP Cron task that is (supposed to be) running every minute (if there is any work to do). Additionally, it also runs whenever you load the analytics dashboard to ensure you are always viewing stats that are up-to-date.

Could it be that you didn’t open your analytics dashboard on Feb 3, Feb 4 or Feb 5? This would indicate that somehow the WP Cron task isn’t running for you. You can test this a bit further by installing the plugin Lap mentioned: Advanced Cron Manager.

    Hey @rghedin,

Can you please update to version 1.0.8 and let me know if you see a warning notice on your Koko Analytics dashboard page, informing you of an issue with WP Cron?
