    Hey Rene54,

Can you pass along a link to your site so I can check it out? Also, “Bootstrap” and “child” are both relatively generic terms in the WordPress world, so I am not able to dig any deeper into this with these clues. Can you give me a link to where you downloaded the theme?

Also, for fun, and in case I need it, let me know how many days you have my plugin set to display the date.

I look forward to helping you out!

    Hai Ben,

Dates are still showing, so it is not resolved.

I set the time frame for showing to 30 days.
I sure hope you can resolve this, otherwise I will try another service.

    Regards,
    René

I can’t help fix it until you send along a link to your website. Please send a link.

Thanks. I am more than happy to resolve this for you, and look forward to you changing your 1-star review. I take those personally!

    ?? Have a great day.

    Hey René,

Just so you know, another user emailed me with some issues they were having, and I fixed it in less than 13 hours.

Still waiting on your reply with a link to your website, so I can wow you with how quickly I fix your problem, too!

    Have a great day!

    Hai Ben,

I replied to the mails I got from this post not realising you do not receive those.

The link to my website is: https://www.dekloplossing.nl

    Sorry for the misunderstanding!

It looks like the link those not work: https://www.dekloplossing.nl

    Hey René,

I just checked, and the plugin is working correctly. My plugin only works on individual posts. This one, for example: https://dekloplossing.nl/7-tips-voor-een-onbezorgde-vakantie/ is working great. Here’s a screenshot:

    https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/filestoobigtoemail/Screen+Shot+2015-01-06+at+11.28.45+AM.png

My plugin does not remove dates from home pages, or any archive pages (category, tag, etc). For that, I’d recommend modifying your theme files. The theme author may be willing to help with that.

The file you’d need to modify is located at themes/the-bootstrap/inc/template-tags.php

Never modify php files from within the WP dashboard (admin), always use a text editor and ftp or ssh.

Unfortunately, this extends outside of the realm of support I am able to provide for my plugin. I hope my tips have proved helpful.

    Hai Ben,

Your right, I indeed see the dates only on the archive page now and they dissappear on the individual posts.

    Thanks,

Don’t know if I will go through the hassle of changing the theme file that is way beyond my comfort zone.

    Cheers,
    René

Glad you figured it out. I’d love it if you’d amend your review accordingly!

I tried having options to remove the date from archive pages as well, but theme developers use vastly different methods for calling the posts on archive pages, and that functionality broke my plugin for a majority of users.

    Have a good one!

    Ben
