    Hey Adam,

Thanks for reaching out in the forums!

Your theme puts the date in a heading (h6) class of “edate,” which means that to make my plugin work, all you need to add to the file at /plugins/wp-old-post-date-remover/css/OPDRstyle.css is the following class:

    h6.edate,

So, line 3 of that file should now read:

    h6.edate, li.enigma_post_date, .entry-date, post-date, span.post-date, span.date, .entry-time, span.post_date, span.post_date_intro {

I’ve updated my core plugin files, so that you will be good to go in the event of an upgrade to the plugin.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

In fact, if you just want to uninstall and reinstall the plugin, the file has now been updated on the WordPress servers, so you could do that, and it should begin working for you.

I’m going to mark this as resolved, but if you need anything, just reply back.

And don’t forget that 5-star ratings are your friend, if I get the thing working for you!

    Hey havig,

As a general rule on the forums, it’s best to start your own thread for unrelated issues, as opposed to tagging onto the bottom of other threads.

That being said, my plugin does not affect search engine results pages (SERP), just the actual WordPress posts.

Another user found a way to hide them from the SERP snippets, but I don’t know anything about it. That post is here, for reference. You could reach out to that user.

    Thanks!

Hi, I also seem to be having a problem with dates still showing, I have your plugin installed and days set to 1 but all dates are still showing.

    My site is at https://www.archwaytheatre.com/archwaytheatre

    Would appreciate your help.
    Thanks

Hey Archwaytheatre, can you start your own support thread? That will keep these folks from being sent an email every time I respond to you. Also, it will help me to keep the threads separate.

Please respond (in that new thread) to this question, while I go poke around your site:

Are you running any caching plugins or software?

    Thanks!

    Ben
