Dates not removing

I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme in the single post editor and can’t locate the line so I can remove the dates off the WP posts?
Anyone know where and how I can remove the dates- no Date exclusion plugin doesn’t work no matter what other plugins are removed or updated.
Does anyone know a theme maybe that doesn’t have post dates?
