    Hi,
I’ve been using CF7 on a number of sites for years, and I’m a big fan!

However, I have come across something strange: I recently removed the Datepicker add-on as it was removed from the WordPress repository. I’m now using the datepicker included in CF7.

I noticed something very user-unfriendly, perhaps you know a solution for this:

    – If you have to pick your birth date, you click on the date field and the picker appears.
    – You then click on year and month
    – Once you have done that, the month & year are filled in in the datefield underneath, but the month/year popup remains open.
    – If you press enter, it disappears and month & year are filled in. But the days is not, so you have to click on the date again and now select the day.

That seems like a very awkward process to me. Is this an HTML issue, or a CF7 issue?
    – You can see an example on the link I added.

    Thanks for your help!

Try switching to the default theme and deactivating all plugins excluding Contact Form 7, Classic Editor, Flamingo, and Yoast SEO.

See Why you are advised to deactivate plugins and switch to the default theme.

    Hello Takayuki,
the fact that you suggest that suggests that that is not normal behaviour, do I understand you correctly?
It’s quite a busy site, so it took a while to find a quiet moment, but I disabled all plugins except those 4, and activated the 2020 theme. The result was the same.

    Hello Takayuki,
I have tested what you suggested a couple of weeks ago, but that didn’t fix it. Do you have another idea as to what might be causing this?

Am I correct in assuming this is not normal behaviour?
