As others have reported, validation for the datepicker in Ninja Forms 3.6.9 is broken.

    I’m using the date format DD/MM/YYYY ( d/m/Y ).

When the user selects a date the validation says, “Please select a valid date!”.

I need the user to select the current day’s date, so I tried setting the field to ‘Default to current date’, but I still get the validation error.

Then I tried making the field NOT a required field. The validation error is still triggered – even when the field is not required!

    Got it working!

In the settings for the field I changed the Format from ‘Standard’ to ‘DD/MM/YYYY’.

I’d previously only set the date format on the main settings page of Ninja Forms.

So it’s ‘fixed’ for my specific situation, but there are obviously still bugs that need fixing in 3.6.9 – such as Ninja Forms trying to validate a field that isn’t required.

Can you update your Ninja Forms plugin to the latest version, 3.6.12 and let us know if you are still having issues?
