    I have read the blog on the jquery / theme disagreement, but that’s not the case. Can you just give an option to take away the datepicker and instead have the option of selecting a specific format and specifying that format on the front end? That would be MUCH easier for everyone.

    If not – what do I do to fix it?

    I too have read over the posting about our theme not working right with jquery but I have reviewed the function.php and header.php and do not find any mention about jquery and/or google jquery.

    Are there any other suggestions on what to do to get our date picker back? Right now we can’t create new events because no matter what we even try to type in the date box it says wrong format and since we can’t get the datepicker to work we are stuck.

    Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciate.

    this might be a theme issue and you can try to check if your other plugin or theme is using custom jquery or using default wordpress jquery library.

    The plugin uses wordpress jquery – already checked. How else can we correct this or remove the datepicker?

    It was working fine before I upgraded to the latest version of Events Manager. Won’t make that mistake on the other site I have using this plugin. We need a real solution here folks. It seems to be on your end as I, too, have tried the suggestion and no such line exists in my theme files. Avada is my theme of choice BTW and it is excellent!

    Everyone… This sounds like a possible jQuery conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme.

    Let us know if the datepicker works when you try the test above.

    Ok, so there doesn’t seem to be a solution and it clearly has something to do with the update. Any ideas on how to fix it without stripping the site rather than just saying something is not possible at the moment?

    Exactly my thoughts @kriscent! This reminds me of back in the day when we first started using computers and the hardware folks would say “it’s a software problem” and the software folks would blame it on the hardware! Am I dating myself? LOL.

    Simple answer for me was to uninstall and use a different plug in, took a couple hours to move my events, but I spent more time trying to figure out the bug so I have moved on.

    RSVPmaker – I have been working with the developer David to tweak it to work perfect for us, he is a great to work with.
