    Hi Chouby,

I am having a problem with the Italian translation of the dates!

    – Page example: https://tape-g.com/it/home-it/
    – Defautl Language: EN
    – Additional Language: IT (Italian) – not working for the dates
    – I use the Presso theme, with a Child Theme.
    – I use … for editing the .po and .mo files and translating
    – I do not have a “define(‘WPLANG’, ‘it_IT’);” set up in my “wp-config.php”

Beside the above information, please advise me on my setup, as I have a “languages” folder in 3 places:
    – wp-content
    – main theme
    – child theme

Is this the ideal setup, or should I delete the “languages” folder in 1 or 2 places?

Thanks a lot for your help with this.

Hi Chouby, fortunately I’ve foudn out that by regenerating the .mo file for the Italian language in WP-Content, the date gets now translated fine!

    Hi,
i’ve got the same problem since the last update. Could you tell me, what you’ve done exactly to solve that issue?

By the way: All wordpress default translations – eg. <?php _e('Search') ?> – aren’t working aswell. In all languages the default english string is outputted. Any ideas?

    Hi schokophil,

I am using Codestyling Localization to generate the .mo files, so in the plugin area I just generated the .mo form the “default” WordPress. I don’t know if that helps you, but let me know.

thanks, gian ava. i just updated to 1.4.5 – luckily the problem got fixed already.
