Date Suppression plugin

    I just added a date exclusion plugin to my Word Press site. This hides the date so that the search engines don’t publish the date on the description and make the post look dated. Will this effect my ranking in terms of Yahoo or Google having to re-index each post or because there is no date will this hurt?
