    Hey Paul,

My plugin doesn’t help with home pages, or other archives/category/tag pages. It’s designed just to help with traffic that lands on your site directly on a single post.

Right now, my plugin is working correctly to hide a div with the class “bigdate” which I assume normally overlays the image with a big date as is currently on the home page. So, the good news is that the caching setup is not the problem with hiding the dates on individual posts. The smaller date that is under the image in the author-vcard section (“this image posted by… on … “) won’t be hidden unless you modify the theme files to put that section into its own span. But (personal opinion) I wouldn’t want to hide the date there.

Hiding the date on the home page in a way that is reliable across the thousands of themes out there is not possible (because there’s no standard by which themes set the date for archives, so my plugin would hide all for some, and show all for others. And there’s no way—that I know of—to dynamically hide it from just some posts on the home page.)

Makes sense. It would have helped if I read the description of the full details of what it does or does not remove. I deactivated it to see the larger date re-added on the date post. Thanks for the prompt response!
