Date showing on Google results for homepage, need removed

    I am having an issue where Google Search Results are displaying a date next to my homepage. [ redundant link removed ]

    It’s not the date that it was created, and more importantly, I don’t want a date being displayed for the homepage at all. All other pages in Google Search Results are showing the date the post was published, which is fine. I just need to remove the date for the homepage.

    The Theme I’m using is Zeen, from Codetipi. I have tried to address this with them, and they said it appears to be being output by the Yoast Plugin. Here’s a link to the trouble ticket: https://codetipi.ticksy.com/ticket/2142340

    I’m using the free version of Yoast SEO. Could you please stop the date from displaying on the Google Results page for my homepage, [ redundant link removed ]

    Ultimately, Google determines when or when not to show dates in search results. The date that appears currently is Sep 24, 2019 for your homepage. This date is not output in the Yoast data but does appear on the homepage for the flipboard content.

    I’m not sure if flipboard is part of your theme or a separate plugin but that appears to be where Google is finding the date information. Please contact the author or support team for the plugin or theme that adds this functionality to your site.
