Date Range is Ignored…

  • Hi, first allow me to say that you have an amazing plugin here…

    I am using a certain theme and noticed that the date range is ignored when i search. I then switched to the default WP 2016 theme, and it worked without issues.

    I was wondering, what do you think could be the root of this issue? Any general, educated guesses? Maybe my theme is using a weird date format or something?

    I was thinking of renewing my theme’s license (costs about $50) simply to ask that question, but i dont know if they will kick me right back to you, the plugin developer. So im at a crossroads…..

    Here’s a test search, which ignores the dates:

    Theme: Magazine by Themify

    I searched for the word “test”
    Date range: 01/01/2007 and 03/01/2007

    The above search gives me multiple results, even newer than the dates specified:
