Date Range for Export

I am curious if there is a way to export by date range. I only am trying to export posts by month since my client is still adding content as we’re building out a new site on a development URL. Is there a way to export ONLY POSTS/FEATURED IMAGES/MEDIA for a specific date range? I don’t want to export themes or anything that would overwrite the design of the new site.
