Date picker not working for standard publish date in WP admin?

    There is an option “Enable for backend (wp-admin)?” in the settings, so I expected that this would add a date picker to the post publish date in the WordPress admin. However, this is not the case. Did I misunderstand something or is this feature broken?

    WP Datepicker 1.8.3
    WordPress 5.4.2

  • @martinsauter “Enable for backend (wp-admin)?” means you can implement datepicker to wp-admin pages as well not to post publish date in WordPress admin.

    Thank you for your clarification. That’s a pity, since this would be a very useful improvement of the WordPress backend. Is there any other solution for this?

    @martinsauter we were not aware that someone will request this feature else it could be released earlier. We are noting it down as a new feature request, hopefully in upcoming versions you will get it working.
