    Hi Josie,
I encountered a little problem with webform. When I create a new webform, set it to “Open” and set the automatic closing date. Then I click the Save button. The problem is the form does not get saved. What I find is if I do not check the Auto Close feature the form got saved with no issue. I just have to get back in to set the Auto Closing date and save again.
It becomes a two step process and is problematic. I wonder if this is by design or a bug. If it is a bug, can this be corrected? Thanks.

I agree, ideally that should not happen, and should be classified as a bug.

Unfortunately, the automatic opening and closing functions were later additions to entrywizard. It would take fairly large code changes now to allow for setting these on an unsaved webform, and the risk of creating new bugs when doing so would be quite high.

So I’m sorry, but it’s not something I’m planning to fix now.

Thanks for your reply. I fully understand the implications on bug fixing. We just have to work around it. No problem.
