Date order

    Hi there, we tried all of these short codes below to get the plugin to display the events in event date order on the homepage (most recent date to later, example left to right: September, October, November) but it’s still displaying in random order.

    [event_list]
    [event_list orderby=”start_date” order=”ASC” limit=”4″]
    [event_list orderby=”event_date” order=”ASC” limit=”4″]
    [event_list event_order=”ASC” limit=”4″]

    What’s the correct short code to display in event date order from left (most recent) to right?

    Hi @sculley ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    The Events Calendar (free) plugin does not ship with the feature to do shortcodes (see Why go Pro?). Are you using some other plugin that allows you to do an [event_list] shortcode?

    Hi there, thanks for the reply. No, we’re not using another plug-in. I’m not sure how it’s working if it’s not supposed to be.
